SAN JOSÉ: Standing in the center of the country surrounded by green mountains, lush coffee plantations and delightful villages, San José is Costa Rica’s bustling metropolitan capital and provides the main focal point for cultural and social life. The city’s attractions include the Jade Museum with ancient artifacts and carvings and the Gold Museum which houses one of the largest and finest collections in the world.
